Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering package proposals and ensuring exceptional value for money management. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of commercial objectives, profitability targets, and cash performance across the programme.
- Administering contracts in accordance with NEC4 forms, including managing compensation events and change control.
- Managing subcontractors from procurement to final account, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Developing detailed cost forecasts and commercial performance reports.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities across assigned packages.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in major infrastructure, energy, nuclear, defence, or complex construction projects.
- Experience managing complex subcontract procurement and commercial package management.
- A thorough understanding of the NEC suite of contracts.
- Strong cost planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities, along with excellent negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage risk, change, and contractual entitlement in a structured manner.
