Service Engineer
Join Our Team as a Service Engineer in South East London!
Salary: Up to £52,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience.
Are you an experienced Service Engineer with Stairlift expertise? If so, we want you to join our dedicated team at Stannah! You’ll be covering a route across South East London, playing a crucial role in helping our customers maintain their independence in their own homes.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Orpington Service Branch, where you will be responsible for:
- Servicing and repairing stairlifts, micro-lifts, and goods lifting equipment.
- Ensuring high standards of service and customer care.
- Conducting effective risk assessments.
- Completing log cards accurately.

What We’re Looking For:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) or transferable electrical/mechanical engineering experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
- Previous stairlift experience.
As a Service Engineer, you’ll be provided with a company van, mobile phone, and tablet. A valid UK driving license and a clean DBS are essential for this role.
You will also participate in our on-call rota, receiving a competitive standby allowance and call-out payment in addition to your base salary.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM
