Join Our Team as an Escalator Engineer!

Location: Greater London (including Gatwick & Stansted rail stations)
Hours: 19:00 – 7:00, 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts with a 45-minute unpaid break)
Salary: Up to £85,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience, with paid door-to-door travel.

Your Role

As an Escalator Engineer, you will:

  • Maintain and repair a variety of escalators and moving walkways across major rail and underground sites.
  • Work with top-tier equipment, including KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.
  • Utilize your strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cover a patch that includes all of Greater London, with additional work at Gatwick and Stansted Airport stations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers.
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care.
  • Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards during every visit.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways.
  • Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential.
