Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

At Priory Hospital Bristol, located in Stapleton, we specialize in mental health and addiction treatment, providing fast access to care for a variety of psychiatric conditions. Our facility is easily accessible via public transport, with local bus routes and Bristol Parkway railway station just a short distance away.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a vital member of our compassionate team, you will:

  • Deliver person-centred nursing care to a defined patient group.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Act as a named nurse, monitoring and reviewing care plans while responding to changes in patients’ needs.
  • Prioritize and delegate nursing duties effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain professional relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Support the development of newly qualified staff through preceptorship.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, and Priory policies.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months post-registration experience.
  • Active NMC Registration and completion of the preceptorship programme.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months post-registration experience in a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Care Environment.
