Are you ready to take your project management skills to the next level? Sysco is on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Services Team (HR, Finance, and Legal) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving technology initiatives that align with our strategic goals across Europe.

Your Mission

As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of the project delivery lifecycle, ensuring that our technology solutions not only meet business outcomes but also transition smoothly into BAU service operations. You will lead projects with both internal and external resources in a matrix organization, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage project delivery, ensuring alignment with sponsor objectives.
• Maintain governance standards, including adherence to project delivery methodology and RAID logs.
• Stay updated on business change opportunities and translate prioritized project ideas into clear technology scopes for approval.
• Define and manage an effective communication plan to keep stakeholders informed.
• Create and control project budgets, ensuring resources are adequately managed.
• Successfully implement changes into BAU operations, meeting project success criteria.
• Manage and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
• Engage in stakeholder management up to executive level.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• End-to-end IT Project Management experience in delivering complex technical projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with change management and deploying technologies across multiple sites using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• A solid understanding of business processes and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing multiple 3rd party system integrators.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• The ability to negotiate, build consensus, and influence team members.
• Knowledge of functional areas such as production, warehouse, merchandising, and finance.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid working contract, requiring you to attend the office in Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead three times a week. Flexibility with travel and commuting for project and team meetings is essential.
