About Us

Founded in 1987 by a group of dedicated foster parents, we are proud to be the UK's first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the heart of our mission, providing them with the specialist support they need. Our Integrated Service Programme (ISP) offers a comprehensive range of services, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working collaboratively to support foster parents and the children in their care.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:

• Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for meaningful supervision.
• Conduct regular supervision sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing foster parents' practices.
• Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Previous experience in children and families social work.
• A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
• A full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own car.
• Strong report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

This is a full-time, permanent position that comes with the following benefits:
