Location

You'll be working on HS2 sites across Wendover, Buckinghamshire to Southam, Warwickshire.

Working Hours

Enjoy a work-life balance with our hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. We also offer some flexibility, so just let us know what works for you!

Your Role

As a Maintenance Operative, you’ll be an essential part of our facilities team, ensuring that our buildings are safe, compliant, and operational. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
• Carrying out general building fabric maintenance, including carpentry and handyman tasks.
• Completing weekly and monthly Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks such as fire alarm testing and legionnaires checks.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests with efficiency and professionalism.
• Conducting routine inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Have proven experience in building maintenance, especially in plumbing and fabric maintenance.
• Hold valid Water Regulations (WRAS) and legionnaires certification.
• Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Have a full driving licence and are comfortable traveling between sites.
• Can work independently and are familiar with mobile job tracking software.
