About Our School

Nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, ISP School is dedicated to providing specialist education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication, interaction, cognition, and learning needs.

Your Role

We are on the lookout for an inspirational qualified teacher who has experience working with vulnerable children across Key Stages 3 and 4. If you are passionate about teaching Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help children become responsible citizens
• Motivate students to embrace learning and develop a lifelong love for education

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Successful teaching experience
• Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly with SEMH and ASC needs
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A reflective practitioner who is open to growth
• Understanding of therapeutic approaches to education
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Proven track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons

As part of our commitment to safety, the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP School Battle.
