Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – hybrid working

Hours: Permanent Full-time, 37.5 hours per week – enjoy condensed hours and flexibility if desired!

Your Responsibilities

As our Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our commercial team, driving profitable projects and fostering excellent client relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading the commercial team to secure maximum sustainable value from schemes and programmes of work.
• Overseeing all commercial functions and managing contractual matters across projects.
• Managing cost controls, risk registers, and proactively delivering identified opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Supporting and developing team members through regular appraisals and clear leadership.

• Have a strong understanding of contract terms, commercial frameworks, and risk management within a project environment.
• Enjoy taking ownership of the commercial performance of projects, ensuring value is maximized while maintaining strong governance.
• Can confidently produce, monitor, and adapt forecasts to reflect project changes and evolving business needs.
• Have experience leading, mentoring, and developing commercial teams, helping others achieve their full potential.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders through clear communication and a collaborative approach.
