Founded in 1987 by a group of passionate foster parents, we are proud to be the UK's first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the center of our mission. Our Integrated Services Programme (ISP) provides a comprehensive range of support services, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working together to create a nurturing environment for children and foster parents alike.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in:

• Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high-quality supervision.
• Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor and enhance foster parents' practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is:

• Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents and their invaluable contributions.
• Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
• Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding and challenging environment. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
