Position: Senior/Supervising Social Worker

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
Hours: 21 hours per week over 3 days
Salary: Up to £24,930.29 per annum (£41,550.49 FTE)
Location: Home-based, supporting Foster Parents across the East Midlands, primarily in Derby and Derbyshire, with some households in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Your Role:

As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will be a vital part of our friendly and dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Recruiting, training, assessing, and supporting Foster Parents
• Ensuring high-quality placements for looked after children
• Collaborating closely with a range of involved agencies and professionals

Who You Are:

We are looking for someone who is:

• An enthusiastic and committed self-starter
• Skilled in assessment with strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficient in IT and capable of producing high-quality reports
• A qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration
• Experienced in fostering and services for children (though less experienced candidates are welcome)
• Knowledgeable about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
• Driven by a shared creative vision for fostering

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, home-based position with a competitive salary of up to £24,930.29 per annum (£41,550.49 FTE), depending on experience, plus a car allowance and excellent benefits.
