Your New Role

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity as the Technical Services Manager at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making Of Harry Potter (WBSTL). In this role, you will lead our Technical Services team, ensuring all show-related aspects of the Studio Tour—like lighting, sound, video, sets, and props—are maintained to the highest standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop: Manage, train, and inspire the Technical Services team to achieve high performance and service standards.
• Drive Technical Excellence: Maintain show systems and deliver preventative maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Champion Health & Safety: Ensure compliance and continuously improve processes for an enhanced visitor experience.
• Resource Planning: Oversee staffing and operational efficiency within the department.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure effective planning and delivery of technical installations.
• Duty Management: Act as Duty Manager and Duty Technician to oversee daily operations.
• Budget Management: Handle departmental budgets and supplier relationships, ensuring strong cost control.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven management experience in a Technical Services team within tourism, leisure, or heritage industries.
• Technical expertise in AV installations, electronics, interactives, and animatronics.
• Strong project and supplier management skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience leading multi-skilled technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of facilities management and effective problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications (IPAF, PASMA, IOSH, NBOSH) are advantageous.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with a shift pattern that includes regular weekend and evening work. Flexibility is key, as you may need to work during weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays.
