Frontend Developer - React/WordPress/Gatsby

We are looking for a developer to join the team at Brew to help with a number of web builds using WordPress, Gatsby and the Gutenberg editor. We are looking for someone with front-end skills primarily but ideally experience with creating blocks within the Gutenberg editor on WordPress.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, driven and show an ability to work on their own initiative due to working remotely. We require enthusiasm and passion for this new technology we are using as well as fresh ideas on how we can use it. They will have excellent communication skills and not be fussed about being in front of clients if needed.

We are a small team currently restructuring under the current circumstances and taking this opportunity to change how we do things. We have a large amount of development work lined up and need to expand the team. The role is "work from home" full-time but we would prefer someone in the UK to be able to attend meetings if required in-person.

Your day-to-day responsibility would be working on various new website build projects we have along with maintenance and support requests on some legacy websites where possible.

We use JIRA for our project management, so previous experience of this tool would be beneficial but not essential.

You would be working alongside a Front-End Developer, 2 Back-End Developers and a Lead Designer as part of a small team.

The interview process will begin with a round of single interviews of which a select amount of candidates will be shortlisted. The second stage will be a meeting with the broader team and a final decision will be made shortly after this.
